I like Obama. I'm not going to get sesquipedalian about it (oh damn, I just did), it's very simple. He's smart and charismatic and I like him.

More importantly, I like the way he's running his campaign. Smart, bold and not underhanded (as far as we know).

The McCain campaign on the other hand, stays away from saying what it's about, rather being mean and nasty and lieing about Obama. For example, this attack ad which focuses on Obama being a celebrity:

What's wrong with having people like you anyway? Well Obama has swung back with a commercial that focuses on setting the record straight rather than striking back:

This doesn't mean I like Obama's politics; big government is something we need to get away from and his liberal views are plain and simply the opposite of what the founders of our Republic wanted.

Are McCain's politics any better though? Not by a long shot.  And at least Obama talks about our need to break the dependency on foreign oil.  At least Obama has a plan.
